Ones to Watch Award Winner in 2007

A rhythmic fantasy RPG adventure game scooped the Ones to Watch Award at the British Academy Video Games Awards in 2007.

Each year the nominations for the BAFTA Ones to Watch Award are chosen through the Dare to be Digital video games development competition,

Run through Dare to Be Digital, teams of five art and science students/recent graduates are filtered through a rigorous industry selection process to work together for ten weeks from June To August. At the end of the 10 weeks they compete for cash prizes and the 3 main winners then go on to form the Ones to Watch Award nominees.

The Winner

The winning team in 2007 was announced at the British Academy Video Games Awards on Tuesday 23 October 2007. Actress Rebecca Ryan presented the BAFTA Mask to the Voodoo Boogy team for Ragnarawk, a rhythmic fantasy RPG adventure game set based around the many genres of music.
